The Child Support Hackathon is the opportunity for child support professionals to share how they problem-solved an issue or challenged experienced in the workplace today. It's really a celebration of the child support community's ideas and innovation!
What is the Child Support Hackathon?
Four agencies will be selected to participate in a live event showcasing a challenge it faced and the solution. Or, what we are calling a Hack. Each selected agency will present its Hack during a live event on October 29, 2020. The four Hacks will be reviewed by a panel of judges and a prize award to the best Hack. There will also be a People's Choice Award, as voted on by the live audience.
Here's how you can join the Child Support Hackathon
Submit a Hack
Child Support state, county or tribal organizations are invited to showcase their approach to problem-solving an issue or challenge the organization has faced. Private sector organizations can submit a Hack with an agency they are working with.
Organizations are invited to consider an issue unique to its office in the area of customer service, business operations, or technology.
Have a problem and solution in another area? That's okay too! Tell us about it.
No challenge is too small. This is all about IDEAS and INNOVATION.
Hacks are to be submitted online.
Applications must be submitted by 9 PM EST, Monday, September 14, 2020
Selection & Participation
Hacks will be reviewed and selected by a three person panel.

Not a Hacker? Not a problem.
